Hook: Kamasan B175
Tail: Golden Pheasant topping
Rib: Silver wire
Body: Silver mylar
Wing: Pheasant
Throat hackle: Ginger/brown hen
Cheeks: JC splits.
Thread: Danville 6/0 black

A variation on a classic wet fly from George Barron’s book “At the end of the line”. The pattern has all the characteristics of the traditional pattern save the flash of Blue Jay as a throat hackle. Definitely a pattern for pin fry feeding trout.
